Need help designing an engineered piping system?
We offer delegated design services for firms needing this special expertise. Increasingly, project specifications are calling for a “delegated design submittal”, including stamped calculations, and making the contractor responsible for the design of piping expansion. If your project does not require stamped calculations, we will provide you with recommendations at no cost. Metraflex uses CAEPipe finite element analysis software to analyze your complex piping layouts for movement, stresses and anchor loads. You recieve all the materials and calculations required for you to meet submittal requirements. Metraflex. Delegated Design services can make you a hero, catching problems before installation. A new LEED v4 |
||
In just under 20 years, LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) has become the international standard for the design, construction and operation of high-performance buildings. LEED v4 is designed to up the ante with a more flexible, performance-based approach that calls for measurable results throughout a building’s life cycle. How can the LPD-Y strainer help obtain LEED credits? In two categories – Energy and Atmosphere (EA) with the very low pressure drop, and Materials and Resources (MR) with material ingredient reporting via our new Health Product Declaration (HPD).
Catch us at the ASPE 2018 Convention & Expo! Booth 707 |
||
The annual American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE) show is coming up – October 1st and 2nd. Metraflex will hosting a booth again this year. We will be showcasing a few of our Metraloop expansion variations as well as our UPC listed Metraloop Expansion Joints. Our Viega™ ProPress, Press Fit and Sweat ends are the first UPC listed, NSF 61 certified products of their kind. These expansion joints will compensate for thermal expansion and contraction without causing heavy thrust loads that, in turn, damage your press-fit system. Metraloop expansion joints can be used with any other press-fit system. Catch us at the show to find out more or contact your inside sales rep! |
