This course has been designed to familiarize the technician with the theory, operation, terminology, and basic startup of AERCO direct-fired products including the following:
- Benchmark, thousand series and legacy products
- Innovation, Innovation legacy units
- AM Series, and Modulex EXT/MLX
- Installation, start-up, troubleshooting, control systems, combustion calibration, water heater temperature control, boiler modes, and control theory
This course will only be available to a technician as a one-time event. There will only be 1 chance to pass the final exam, with an 70% or higher. This class will be conducted on 4 consecutive days, M-Th, from 1pm to 5pm Eastern. Attendance is mandatory on all 4 days. Class size will be limited to 15 people per session. Upon the completion of the course, the Training Department will contact each person and administer a verbal test.
To ensure the success of those taking this course, it is strongly recommended that anyone enrolling in this course complete the AERCO Basic Training WBT (web-based training course), as well as the Edge Controller WBT. Both courses can be found on the Watts Learning Management System (LMS).
