This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes how Bornquist, Inc. (“Bornquist, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you (a) interact with our website, (b) answer any survey provided to you by us or otherwise access the services and offerings provided by Bornquist (collectively the “Services”).  

Please note that this Privacy Policy does not apply to non-Bornquist websites or services that state that they are offered under a different privacy policy. Please review the privacy policies on those websites directly to understand their privacy practices.

Information We Collect

Depending on the nature of your interaction with Bornquist, we may collect personal information:

• Directly from you, when you provide information to us or interact with us as follows:
  • Account information, including your name, email address, and selected password if you create an account with us.
  • Contact information and any other information you choose to include when you communicate with us via email, mail, or other channels.
  • Payment information including payment information and payment history if you engage in transactions through the Services.
  • Any additional information you choose to provide us, including questions, responses to surveys, and feedback.
• Automatically from you via cookies as described in the next section.

• From third parties:

• Information about yourself provided by your invited collaborators in response to survey questions provided by us to such invited collaborator.

Some of this information may be collected by external parties on our behalf. For example, we use a payment processor when you engage in a transaction on our Services; Bornquist does not itself collect or store payment card information. You may be able to opt-out of some uses of your personal information. Cookies

When you interact with the Services, certain information about your use of the Services is automatically collected. This includes:

• With other users who invited you to provide information on their behalf as part of their use of the Services.
• With service providers we believe need the information to perform a technology, business, or other professional function for us, such as IT services, maintenance and hosting of our Services, accounting, auditing, and tax services, and other professional services.
• In the event of a corporate event, we reserve the right to transfer to another entity or its affiliates or service providers some or all information about you in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, acquisition, sale of assets or any line of business, change in ownership control, or financing transaction. We cannot promise that an acquiring party or the merged entity will have the same privacy practices or treat your information the same as described in this Privacy Policy.

We use a combination of physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to protect the information we collect through the Services. While we use these precautions to safeguard your information, we cannot guarantee the security of the networks, systems, servers, devices, and databases we operate or that are operated on our behalf. If you use our Services outside of the United States, you understand that we may collect, process, and store your personal information in the United States and other countries.

You have certain choices when it comes to how we collect and use your information:

• Account information: Please visit your Bornquist account to view and update certain information associated with your account, such as your contact information.

• Email marketing: If at any time you no longer wish to receive marketing communications from us, you can click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email from us.

Occasionally, we may provide links on our website to other sites we think will be of value to you. These sites operate independently of Bornquist and have established their own privacy and security policies. Bornquist does not have any control over the privacy practices of these sites. For the best online experience, we strongly encourage you to review these policies at any such site you visit.

Opt-Out

To opt out of receiving marketing communications from us, please click the 'unsubscribe' link at the bottom of any email, contact us directly at unsubscribe@bornquist.com to manage your subscription preferences, or visit https://bornquist.com/unsubscribe-form/ and fill out the Opt-Out Form. You acknowledge that some services and offers may not be available to you if you opt-out of our use of your personal information. Information related to purchases, existing services, and other relationships between you and Bornquist may continue to be used by Bornquist in order to fulfill Bornquist’s obligations to you and other customers. Bornquist will continue to adhere to this Privacy Policy with respect to any personal information previously collected.

We may make changes to this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective Date” at the top of this page indicates when this Privacy Policy was last revised. We may also notify you in other ways from time to time about the collection, use, and disclosure of your information described in this Privacy Policy.
